Suddenly on Thursday, March 17, 2005, age 63. Devoted and beloved husband of Leteria for 37 years. Loving daddy of Denise, Michelle, Brigitte.. Adored Grampy of Jerome, Kareen, Tremayne Soares, Isaiah and Imani Ritchie. Cherished brother of Norma Francis of Ajax, Ronald Soares, Michael Soares, Lorren Soares and Marva Ricketts, all of New York, and Joan Thompson of Jamaica. Derrick will be fondly remembered by his nephews, nieces, friends and extended family in Canada, U.S., England, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
