Obituary for David Eugene Loos
Passed away at Albright Manor, Beamsville, on Monday, August 29, 2016, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Serbin ) for 55 years. Loved father of Brian Loos and his wife Georgia and Nancy Harrison and her husband Richard. Cherished grandfather of Sara Loos and Brian and Megan Harrison. Predeceased by his sisters Helen Schnell and Marion Loos. Dave was raised and educated in Capreol, Ontario. In 1949 Dave began his career in the Insurance Industry and retired in 1994 as Branch Manager with The Economical Mutual Insurance Group in Hamilton. Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dave's life will take place at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, September 2, 2016, from 6-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McNally House Hospice or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
