Smith, David George (1924-2010) â€" Peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, on Monday, April 12, 2010. Dave, beloved husband of Jean. Loving father of Pam and husband Gerry Duffy of Vancouver, B.C. and Ray and wife Dian of Gananoque, ON. Cherished grandad of Kerry Lynn Nelson (Paul), Randall Smith (Kate), Neil and Ciara Duffy, and great grandad of A.J. Nelson. David is survived by his 4 sisters and 1 brother, all of Belfast, Northern Ireland. He will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. Dave was a member of the Rameses Shrine, Toronto as well as a member of the Zeta Shamrock Lodge, Toronto. The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and nurses of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital for all their care. A Funeral Service will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Private interment.
