Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Friedlind Diverty. Loving father of Jill Battersby (Drew) and Adam Diverty (Lisa), and his step-children Tanya Fauteux (Joseph) and Noel Cain (Deanna). Loving "grandpa" of Emma, Kale, Bryn, Cole and Brooklyn. Dear brother of Jack Diverty (Jacquie). Dan will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 12:00pm NOON until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.
