Obituary for D. Paul Nurse
NURSE: D. Paul, PhD.-
Peacefully, at Joseph Brant Hospital, after years of illness Paul passed away on January 31, 2018, with family by his side, in his 63rd year. Son of Marilyn McMichael Nurse of Burlington and the late Donald G. Nurse of Waterloo (2013). Brother of Lori Nurse (Garth Aasen), Sandra Scott (Sandy) and Craig Nurse. Proud uncle of Alexandra (Jeremy Robertson), Greg (Giulia Barbos), Matt (Mel Maltby), and Jeff (Erika Minkhorst). Great uncle of Evelyn and William Robertson. Paul was a freelance writer, published author and a true historian. During his early years, he excelled in Judo, receiving a black belt, and was keenly knowledgeable about the world of movies. The family expresses enormous gratitude to all the medical professionals who have cared for Paul during his many illnesses. If desired, donations can be made to the Liver Transplant Program at Toronto General Hospital, or Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington. Arrangements private.
