Obituary for Curtis Craig Pollard Josling

Curtis Craig Pollard Josling
With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden, and unexpected death of our beloved son and brother, Curtis, on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the age of 16. Loving and devoted son of Craig and Karen, only brother of Alexandra and Samantha. Curtis will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his grandparents John and Phyllis Josling, Reg and Carol Pollard, uncles Michael (Wendy) Pollard, Gary (Connie) Pollard and cousins Bryan (Heather) Boyle, Jenna-Lee, Victoria, Charlotte and Grace Pollard and his dog Tanner, who he absolutely loved. Curtis was a wonderful bright, caring person who was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed many sports including hockey, soccer and snowmobiling. His true passion was his love for the game of golf and was a member of the Hamilton Golf & Country Club. He enjoyed working on his family farm alongside his dad and papa. He will be missed by all his friends and teachers at Hillfield Strathallan College along with many other close friends outside of school. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 1371 Elgin Street, Burlington, on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 12 noon. Interment Carlisle United Church Cemetery, Carlisle. Reception to follow at the Carlisle Golf and Country Club, 523 Carlisle Road, Carlisle. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Curtis, to the Curtis Josling Memorial Fund, (mail to RBC Private Banking, 279 Lakeshore Road, East, Oakville, ON L6J 1H9) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Our lives will never be the same without you.
