Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, with her daughter, son and grandchildren at her side, on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Michael. Loved mother of Lucia Caruso and her husband Raffaele and Pasquale Timperio and Julianna, all of Stoney Creek. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Caruso (Lucy), Michael Caruso (Nadia), Michael Timperio (Andrianna), Enrico Caruso (Krista), Christopher Timperio and David Timperio (Candice) and great-grandmother of Matthew, Christina, Michael, Anthony, Victoria and baby expected by David and Candice. Mother-in-law of Ingrid Timperio. Dear sister of Giuseppina "Elisa" Timperio and the late Antonio Muccilli and step-sister of the late Addolorata, all of Italy. Cristina will also be missed by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in Canada and Italy. Special thanks to Dr. Taugas, Dr. Sne and nurses Barb, Sam and Sandra at Juravinski Hospital and to Dr. Profetto for all of your care.
