Pagliacci, Veronica Constance "Connie" (nee Parker)-

Passed away peacefully at McNally House Hospice, on Friday, February 4, 2011, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Joseph, for 47 years. Loving mother of daughter Lisa Bradley (David) and sons Mark (Michele) and Vincent (Linda). Cherished grandmother of Lucas and Martin and Thea, Lilly and Grace. Connie will be sadly missed by her sister Genevieve Onysko of Ottawa, brother Bruce Parker (Joy) of Berwick Nova Scotia, sister-in-law Kathleen Parker and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Marcella Parker, brothers Vaughan, Stuart and Garnet (Lois). Very sincere thanks to the CCAC Nurses, especially Lois and Kim for their compassion and the palliative care team with special thanks to Dr. Marshall and Mary Kathryn and Dr. Mazurka and his staff at Clinic C at Juravinski Cancer Centre and Dr. Ginette Laverdiere. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff and dedicated volunteers at McNally House, who made the end of her journey peaceful and dignified. During her heroic journey she never stopped being a caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she was known for her love of gardening, baking, painting and shopping. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm with Prayer Vigil at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby, on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at 10:30 am. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. If desired, memorial contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Juravinski Cancer Centre, or McNally House, would be appreciated.
