Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington at the age of 75. Charlie Sherritt, much loved brother of Catherine Dunn (Mel) of Burlington, Margaret Everett (Garry) of Stoney Creek, Doreen Cole (Frank) of Hamilton, Milton Sherritt of Hamilton and the late Ramon Sherritt (Dorothy). Charlie is predeceased by his parents Elmer and Lillian, as well as his sister Francis. Charlie will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and his many friends. Charlie was a retired employee of Dofasco as well as a former teacher with the Hamilton Separate School Board. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Brant St. (at Blairholm), Burlington, on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10 am. Interment in Burlington. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
