Passed away peacefully at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the age of 81. Charles Korczak, beloved husband of Mary Korczak (nee Roczniak) and dear father of Theresa Kongats (Alar), Louise Alexandru (Dino) and Carl. Cherished grandfather of Krystyna, Victoria and Nathalie. Charles will be missed by his sisters Margaret Jasinski (late Frank), Jean Warda (Stanley) and brothers John Korczak (Pauline) and Kazimer Korczak (Eva). Predeceased by his parents Wojciech and Agatha, as well as his brother Henry. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Charles was retired from the Ford Oakville Assembly Plant. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, 4072 New St., Burlington, on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
