Obituary for Cécile Haché (Cormier)

Surrounded by the love of her family, Cécile passed peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Carpenter Hospice in her 87th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Lionel (July 2013). Loving mother to Camille (Dorice) of Burlington, Monique (Denis) Plante of Burlington, Ginette (Roland) Bédard of Burlington, Jacques (Joanne) of Burlington, Murielle (Dave) Holubeshen of Burlington, Michel (Brenda) of St. Catherines, and Robert (Sandy) of Caledonia. Cherished and proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Survived by four sisters, and four brothers. Predeceased by three brothers, and one sister. Cécile will be greatly missed for her smile, strength, courage, concern for everyone's well-being and most of all, her unconditional love. Although we mourn her loss, we will celebrate her life and find comfort in knowing she is watching over us all. The family expresses their gratitude for all the love and support from family and friends, especially during the last few months. Special thank you to Dr. Comeau for his great care and support, the CCAC staff and the staff at Carpenter Hospice. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington at 11 a.m. Private cremation to follow. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Cécile to the Carpenter Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
