Suddenly at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Monday June 19, 2006 Carolyn (nee Smith) McNerney in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Al McNerney. Cherished mother of Ron of Seeley`s Bay, Ontario and Patrick and his wife Sjon of Burlington. Loving sister of Sandra Staples and her late husband John of Toronto. Loving aunt of Margot Staples. Dear daughter in law of Josephine McNerney of Brampton and the late John who died suddenly in Malta on June 15, 2006. Carolyn is also lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Ron McNerney and his wife Sue of Kelowna, B.C. and her many friends. Predeceased by her parents Earl and Angela Smith. Carolyn was a member Burlington Ladies’ Softball and the Joseph Brant Jaycees. Private Cremation. Visitation for Carolyn will be held at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Sunday 3-5 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy to The Canadian Diabetes Association or The Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
