Passed away at Post Inn Village, Oakville, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Marlene Shanahan. Loved father of Ian Kitchen and Jennifer Kitchen (Charles Campbell). Also, remembered by his stepchildren and their families. Dear brother of Kathleen Kilgour. Bruce is a retired long time engineer with the Region of Halton. Private Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bruce to the Alzheimer Society or Parkinson's Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
