Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the age of 79. Betty Patterson, beloved wife of the late Alvin Patterson and dear mother of Cathy Canton, Gary Canton (Mary Taylor), Richard Canton (Lana Pearson) and John Canton (Karen). Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Katie, Derek, Ian, Julia, Cameron and Jaclyn. Betty will be sadly missed by her sister Beatrice Bonnett, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. Remembrances will be shared at 7:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
