Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph`s Hospital, Hamilton, on Friday, June 30, 2006, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Janet Coleman. Loved father of Leah Murray of Toronto and the late Lila and grandfather of Thomas and James. Dear brother of Peter (Nobby) and his wife Biba of Toronto and their children Shireen and Zaid, William and his wife Mary Jo of Grimsby and their children Alison and Beth and Gary and his wife Fran of Toronto and their children Mark and Michael. Barney was a former employee of Stelco and a member of Local 1005. Special thanks to Dr. Margetts, the Nephrology Unit, the Emergency Room staff, and the ICU staff for their wonderful care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will take place at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 3:30 pm.
