Peacefully, at Pine Villa Nursing Home, Stoney Creek on Friday, September 24, 2010, in his 90th year. Dearly missed by his loving family: wife Sophie (nee Sless) and children Robert (Burke), Gary (Kathi), Vincent Meyers (Muffy), Shirley Thompson-Furtak (Ed), the late Mary Lomax (1983)(Danny), Beverley Meyers (Ona) and Wayne Meyers (Judi). Also sadly missed by fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Robert. Special thanks to Dr. Irene Tuttle and the nurses and staff at Pine Villa for their extra care and concern. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at White Chapel, Hamilton.
