Bucciarelli, Antonio "Tony"-
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband, father and nonno, while on vacation with his family in Cuba, on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Santini). Loved father of Lucy Tinebra (Ben) and Victor Bucciarelli. Cherished nonno of Maya and Alexander. Tony was born on June 14, 1941 in Goriano Sicoli, Italy, son of the late Lucia Giancola and Orazio Bucciarelli and step-son of the late Maria Bucciarelli, all of Italy. Son-in-law of the late Pietro and Pierina Santini of Hamilton. Dear brother of Guiseppe (Anna-Maria) Bucciarelli, Carmella (Antonio) Bucciarelli and Luciano (Giorgia) Bucciarelli, all of Italy and brother-in-law of Antonia Lattanzi (late Settimo), Filippo Santini (Corrada), Orlando Santini (Rosa), Maddalena D'Ignazio (late Gabriele), Vincenzo and Sara Santini (late Maria), Domenica DiCenzo (Mario) and Remo Santini (Sue). Cousin of Nello Bucciarelli. Tony was also loved by his nieces, nephews and relatives in Hamilton, Montreal, USA and Italy and by his many friends in Cuba. He was married for 41 years to his loving wife Angela. Tony was a self-employed carpenter by trade for 14 years and was employed with the Hamilton Wentworth Roman Catholic Separate School Board for 21 years. He was a volunteer firefighter for 9 years in Winona. He also starred in a movie called 3 Days by Moetion Pictures. He loved to spend time with his family and friends (Bowling, Tim Horton's and The Club). Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday from 5-9 pm and Thursday from 3-5 and 6-9 pm. Prayer Vigil Thursday at 6 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona, on Friday, March 26, 2010, at 10 am. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
