Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at the London Victoria Hospital on February 20, 2016, Andrea Maria Carbone, beloved husband of 41 years and best friend of Dina Carbone (nee Alaimo). Loving Dad of Lorenzo and his wife Cathy Carbone, Rose and her husband Rob Pauletto. Very proud and loving nonno of Selena and Andrea Carbone, Victoria, Grace and Elizabeth (Buddy) Pauletto. Predeceased by his father Lorenzo Carbone and mother Caterina Roselli, father-in-law Cologero Alaimo and survived by his mother-in-law Rosa Alaimo. Dear little brother of Rosetta Carbone and Salvatore Canale, Gaetana Carbone and Salvatore Orifice, Maria and the late Michael Angelo Raia, Enzo and Pina Carbone. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Rose Sullivan and Joe Coraci, Patricia Alaimo, and Joe and Domenika Alaimo. Dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Andrea was born in Palermo, Sicilia on September 11, 1954 and immigrated to Canada in 1972. After marrying the love of his life, Andrea’s devotion and love for his family was unconditional. He worked 30 years at Dofasco and following retirement, enjoyed his life with many family and friends on the shores of Grand Bend and Palm Beach Florida. Andrea’s true passion was in the kitchen, cooking his “one of a kind” aracini and baking his families favourite tarralle. A truly special man and loved one to all the hearts he touched. We love you and will miss you dearly. Until we meet again. "Vita Mia".
