Obituary for Amanda Evelynrose Pearl Huxley
Huxley, Amanda Evelynrose Pearl (Aug. 4, 2005 – Feb. 1, 2017)
Sadly, our beautiful Amanda was taken from those she loved as a result of an accident on February 1, 2017. Much loved daughter of Rod and Karis (Weightman), adored and loved little sister of Jordan, granddaughter of Sandra Huxley and Keith Dupre, Rod Sr. (deceased) and Charlotte Huxley, and the late Evelyn and Gerald Weightman. Treasured goddaughter of Dale Barrett and Bill Hess. Amanda was the beloved niece of Lee Weightman and Ken Huxley (deceased) and favourite cousin, Briana Weightman. Amanda will be greatly missed by all her friends and staff at Mohawk Garden Public School. All that knew Amanda, loved her and treasured her. She was such a special gift.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 1371 Elgin Street, Burlington on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. For those who wish, donations in memory of Amanda to The World Wildlife Fund or Mohawk Gardens Public School would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
