HARRIS, Allan William –
Born December 8, 1945 in Belleville, Ontario. Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Monday, October 19, 2015, at the age of 69. Loving husband to Deena Harris (nee Holland) for 41 years. Devoted father to Bryan Harris and his wife Amy McCallum-Harris. Proud grandfather to Calli and Deklen. Allan worked as a Sales Representative for Atlas Copco Canada for 31 years, and was twice named Salesman of the Year. He was also a lover of music, playing trumpet at St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church, and as a former member and past president of the Mississauga Pops Concert Band, and a past member of the Burlington Concert Band. Allan was always laughing, and always wanting others to laugh. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm . A Service of Remembrance will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Anglican Church (5324 Bromley Road, Burlington), on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Private interment to take place at a later date. If desired, donations in Allan’s memory can be made to the Salvation Army or to Acclaim Health.
