Obituary for Alivia Cristina Zivkovic

Alivia Cristina Zivkovic
ZIVKOVIC, ALIVIA CRISTINA-
March 30, 2010 - November 9, 2010-11-09

It is with great sadness that Alex, Vincy, Marko, Aleks Jr, and Isabella
announce the passing of their sweet daughter and sister. Alivia went into
the hands of God and into the arms of angels on Tuesday, November 9, 2010,
surrounded by her loving family. Every day with Alivia was a gift. She
was a spunky, tough little fighter, who always made everyone smile with her
expressive eyes and crazy hair. In her short time with us, Alivia won the
hearts of many. She taught us many things about strength, the importance
of family and friends, and unconditional love. Alivia will be sadly missed by her grandparents, Maddalena and the late Gabriele D'Ignazio, Mirko and Desa Zivkovic; great-grandparents Zorka and
Vladimir Vukobratovic, Aunts and Uncles; Vladimir and Rajka Zivkovic, Sasa and Mary Popovic, Matt and Sandy Moccio and Gabriella D'Ignazio; and Cousins Robert, Adriana, Dimitri, and Sasa Jr. Alivia holds a special place in the hearts of many family and friends.
She will especially be missed by the wonderful staff at Toronto Sick Kids
Hospital. They were our second family, and we will be forever grateful
for their care, love and support. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road)STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222). Vigil prayers will be offered by Reverend Djuro Samac at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, November 12, 2010, at 11 am at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 149 Nash Road South, Hamilton.
Interment at Mountview Gardens, Jones Road and Highway #8, Stoney Creek.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation.

Sometimes the tiniest stars shine brightest in our lives. We love you
forever.
