Peacefully, at her home, on Thursday, February 25, 2010, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Sid (1982), Loving mother of John and his wife Valerie, and Janet Lawrence and her husband Philip Conklin. Cherished Grandmother of Beth, John, Heather, Christine (Dan), Kevin (Jennifer) and Shelley and great-grandmother of Kayleigh, Gregory, Bryce and Blake. Alice was predeceased by her brothers John, Albert and Harold. Her family and friends will lovingly remember Alice for the kind and gentle person she was. The family would like to thank C.C.A.C., Dr. Scott and the Palliative Care team for the care and support. Alice was a member of Wellington Square United Church for many years. A private family interment has taken place at Greenwood Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at Wellington Square United Church, Trinity Chapel, 2121 Caroline St., on Friday, March 5th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Wellington Square United Church Memorial Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
