Clark, Alice (nee McMurray) passed away peacefully at The Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington, in her 92nd year and was welcomed in the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Predeceased by loving husband Herbert, brothers Philip and Alan, sister Naomi and Grandson Craig. Alice was a loving caring person with a deep love of her faith and who taught us the importance of family and friends. Our mother will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children: Wayne (Suzanne) of Burlington, Nadyne Mattis (Dennis) of Trenton and Joan Overland of Calgary; Her grandchildren:Lori, Steven, Paula, Kevin, Brad, Tracy, Ben, Colleen, Matt and Chris: Great Grandmother of Dylan, Carly, Morgan, Katrina, Jesse, Raven and Kyla; dear sister of David McMurray (Lexie) of Cardston, Alberta. A special Grandmother Alice to Jonathan and Leisel Galletly. Also, survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends across Canada. The family would like to thank the many friends and family, staff of Christopher Terrace and Tansley Woods, who lovingly visited and cared for Mom during the past few months. Visitation will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stop light north of QEW) Burlington, (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 2366 Headon Road, Burlington on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Rymal Rd.
