Obituary for Alec Henry Earle

EARLE, Alec Henry (former Chief of Police of the Town of Grimsby and Inspector with the Niagara Regional Police Department)-
Peacefully into the arms of Jesus after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease on Saturday evening January 15, 2005 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Viola for 56 years and loved father of Brian and his wife Mildred of Grimsby, Sharon of Grimsby, Linda and her husband Bob Lewis of Smithville, Darlene and her husband Larry Nobes of Winona, Harvey and his wife Kim of Wainfleet. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey and Jen Earle, Elizabeth and Tom Reilly, Matthew and Christopher Lewis, Kerry and Arran Fraser, and Brandon Harpell. Loving great-grandfather to Hayden and Benjamin and to two great grandchildren not yet born. Loved brother of Marie and Lily Earle of Grimsby, and Anna and her husband George Jamieson of Northern Ireland. Predeceased by brother Norman. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby (905-945-2755) on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his homegoing will be held at Calvary Gospel Church, 4129 Hixon Street, Beamsville on Wednesday, January 19 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Grimsby Mountain Cemetery. If desired, a donation in his memory may be made to the Faith Mission of Canada or to the Gideon Bible Society. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shoemaker, the staff of Deer Park Villa and the nurses of C Ward of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for your loving care.
