Peacefully surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness, at Shalom Manor in Grimsby, on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 51. Beloved wife of Jurgen for 29 years. Loving mother of Denise and her husband Jonathan Permen. Much loved daughter of May and Cor Vermeulen. Dear sister of Albert Vermeulen and his wife Kim and Hugo Vermeulen and his wife Linda. Sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Special thanks to all family and friends for all their help over the years. Heartfelt thank-you to the Brain Injury Community Re-entry staff for all their support over the years. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, Grimsby (905-945-2755) on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. and Monday, April 4, 2011 at Forestview Community Church, 132 Lake Street Grimsby from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment Grimsby Mountain Cemetery.
