Obituary for Adolf Wolfsgruber

WOLFSGRUBER, Adolf - Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Monday, January 3, 2005, in his 78th year. Adolf, beloved husband of Frieda for 46 years. Loving father of Richard, Steven, Anita and her husband Gary Trott. Dear Opa of Erika and Evan. He is survived by his three sisters Irma, Imelda and Erika, his two brothers Peter and Tony and predeceased by his brother Lois. Adolf`s passing brings to an end his business and gifted passion, Ontario Upholstery, which he founded and worked for nearly 50 years. He served as an usher at St. Patrick`s Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton for over 25 years. Adolf`s greatest joy in life was his family, trips south and the Maple Leafs. He was an early riser always with a contagious sense of humour. He taught us by example to love unconditionally and to always respect our family and friends, never to profane or judge, and always to respect our elders. A Dad of few but encouraging words who loved and dedicated his life to support his family. He earned our respect and love, our Adi, Vati and Opa. Visitation at SMITH`S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. For those who wish, expressions of sympathy to Cancer Assistance Program, 569 Concession Street, Hamilton L8V 1B2 would be greatly appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
