Peacefully at Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home, Burlington on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Robert Metcalfe. Loving mother of William “Bill” Metcalfe and his wife Jewel. Cherished grandmother of Christine and John (Natasha) and great grandmother of Kayley. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 6:30-8:30p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Aaltjen are asked to please consider McMaster Children’s Hospital
