Horak, Burkhard (Burt) - Suddenly from a massive heart attack in his home on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at the age of 59. Beloved husband for 34 years to Katherine (nee Neufeld) Horak. Loved father of Andrew and Marianne. Survived by his sister Christel and her husband Guenter Wilke, his foster father Jakob Faul, his brother-in-law John Neufeld and his wife Kathy and his mother-in-law Helen Neufeld. Will also be sadly missed by his many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, foster mother and father-in-law. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Mission Baptist Church, 100 North Oval Dr., Hamilton on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11 a.m. Cremation with a private family interment.
