Passed away peacefully at the Village of Tansley Woods Long Term Care, Nursing Home, Burlington on Monday, May 2, 2016 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Martin of 58 years. Dear mother of Rosemary Konrad of Burlington, and Robert Rohats (Joanne) of Edmonton. Much loved grandmother of Erica Konrad (Chris Ho) of Burlington, Veronica Ridley (Jonathan) of Peterborough, and predeceased by her grandson William Rohats of Edmonton. Cherished great-grandmother of Lauren Konrad-Ho of Burlington. Sister of Anton Young (Barbara) of Florida. Mary will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Josef and Juliana Jung. Born in Yugoslavia on December 6, 1924, she immigrated to Canada in 1950 and was a long time resident of Windsor, Ontario prior to moving to Burlington, Ontario. Thank-you to the thoughtful and caring staff at Tansley Woods Long Term Care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington, on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:30 AM, followed by Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association are appreciated.
