WANDS, William John -
Passed away peacefully at home, with his wife by his side, on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at the age of 85. Loving husband to Shirley Wands (nee Lee) for 62 years. Dear father of Tracy East (Roger), Terry Denton (Tim), and Rich Wands (Katie). Proud grandfather of Kelly, Nick, Brandon, Candace, and Casey, and great-grandfather of Maddie, Addisyn, Brynlee, Dominik. Bill will also be missed by many extended family, friends, and his furry companion Sophie. He had a passion for Florida, travelling there as often as he could. Private cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in Bill’s memory to the SPCA of Hamilton Burlington or the Burlington Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333).
