Obituary

Passed away at his home surrounded by his wife and son on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Dorota. Loving Father of Ian. Cherished son of Henryk and Hanna and brother of Marzena. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends in Canada and Poland.

He was a creative and inventive man. He always knew how to entertain and make people smile.

Dear husband, you will never be forgotten.

Dear Dorota and Ian,
Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy is with you both, and extended to your family here and in Poland.
Each member of our family will miss Ziggy. We are grateful for the friendship between our family and your family. We have shared countless casual and special dinners together over time, filled with laughter and conversation and the warmth of friendship. To think it all started with two small preschoolers spotting one another and becoming instant friends. One of our earliest memories of our “family friendship” is your invitation for a picnic at The Pinery when the kids were super young; the waves splashing, the white sandy beach and watching the sunset together. Camping trips and a winter holiday up north also come to mind, followed by more shared dinners, always a good time.
It was Ziggy’s wish to be at home, it was not an easy journey, yet with strength, determination and love you fulfilled that for him. We appreciated visiting during this time, the memory familiar to our many memories; Ziggy and all of us in good conversation, from current events to stories, and as always us feeling right at home in your home.
Know that we are here for you both.
Much love,
Veronica, Norm, Ryan (and Alexis!) and Danielle

Hi Dorota and Ian. We love Ziggy and all of you. We fondly remember our camping days when the kids were young and our many good times at parties and family get togethers. I especially remember the tasty treats that your household always contributed to our gatherings. We are thankful Norm and Veronica introduced us to you all. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Ziggy will live on in the incredible handiwork and electrical skills he contributed to our home. Love Patti, Steve, Quinn and Maddie

Drogi Zbyszku!

Zbyszku! Będziemy Cię wspominać jako radosnego, dzielnego człowieka. Pełnego pomysłów, aktywnego i bardzo pracowitego. Będzie nam brakować rozmów i dyskusji z Tobą. Na zawsze pozostaniesz w naszych sercach i pamięci.
Wyrazy głębokiego współczucia i wsparcia przesyłamy Dorotce, Jasiowi, Rodzicom, Marzenie i jej rodzinie, całej rodzinie
i przyjaciołom w Kanadzie i Polsce. Pogrążeni w żalu Ewa i Grzegorz Kudanowscy
