Winston Smith at the age of 75, a long-time resident of Burlington ON, passed away on Saturday November 11th, 2023. Beloved husband of Veronica Smith (nee Hastick) for 49 years. Loving father of Lyndon, Wallace, Susan and Sandra. Adored grandfather of Alyssa, Trevon, Donta, Jahmael, Keyshawn, Jawuan, Jaylen, Aaliyah and Tamiah, great-grandfather to Mahleek. Brother of Sophia Smith Solomon of Grand Bras, Grenada, uncle to Rhonda, Ron, Roxana, Paul, Gairy, Wilbur, Laslyn and Paula. Winston was a cherished member of the Buckmire and Julien family. Winston lived a full and exciting life. He enjoyed travelling home to Grenada as often as he could. His passion was working on and restoring cars, he did that for many years before he retired. Winston will be missed by many extended family and friends. The family would also like to thank all the PSW's that provided care for Winston over the years, Thank You!
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 10:00a.m.
