POTTS, William “Bill” Norman
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anita of 62 years. Loving father of Arlene Balsden (Michael), Jacqueline Evenden (Philip), Bill Potts (Naomi), Cheryl Rosewell (Tim), Mary Williams (Daniel) and Kathleen Hayden (Michael). Proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Bill will be missed by his sister Eleanor as well as many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Kenneth and Lawrence Potts and Marnie Knechtel. In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 196 Kenwood Avenue, BURLINGTON on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will take place Friday, August 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to St. Patrick’s Society of St. Vincent de Paul (196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington, ON, L7L 4L8) would be greatly appreciated.
