Obituary for Wendy Ann Stevenson

Stevenson, Wendy Ann (Nee Pallett)
Suddenly and peacefully passed away February 9, 2021 at the age of 72. Predeceased by Husband Glyn (2011), their son Brett (2013) and mother Joan Pallett (2020). Wendy will be deeply missed by her siblings Lynn (Bruce) Staz and Bruce (Luisa) Pallett, nieces Jennifer, Meredith (Predeceased 2010), LeeAnn and Carolyn. “Auntie Wendy” to great nieces Baylee, Faith, Paige, Brooke and Nephew Cooper, and so many others, always ready for anything fun! She loved the time with them. Wendy was passionate about so many things- Live Theatre, Movies, Books, Euchre, Travel and her Different Groups. Wendy was a special person, who left a lasting impression on all who had the good fortune of crossing paths with her. Notoriously “Late” for everything, her long-time friends always forgave and forgot. She will be sorely missed. Wendy’s working career started as a young legal secretary in Hamilton. Then with obtaining her Library Degree she worked with The Law Library at the Courthouse. A few years later she applied to the Hamilton District School Board and obtained part time positions at both Orchard Park Secondary and Waterdown District High School, where she retired in 2017. The family would like to thank Park Avenue Manor for their kindness, care and compassion throughout her stay. As per Wendy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place at the St. John’s Anglican Church Yard, at a time late Spring. When COVID 19 Restrictions permit a larger gathering/celebration will follow at St. John’s Church. For those who wish, Donations in Memory of Wendy can be made to Parkinson’s Canada.
