Passed away peacefully at St Joseph's Hospital, on May 30, 2019, at the age of 70. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 34 years, Janet (nee Duncan). Adoring father of Marie (Rick Ranalli) and Carlo (Madison nee Stover). Dear brother of Gioia (Mario DeRenzis) and Cherubina (Enzo Russo). Loving uncle of Zaira (Sam, Michael, Daniel Mantenuto), Mariella and Marzia. Cherished by his extended family and many friends. Vince's zest for life was only surpassed by his passion for tailoring, music and soccer. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joe's Hospital Clinical Teaching Unit - Central for their care and kindness. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of the QEW), BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333), on Monday, June 3, 2019 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow at the funeral home. A private family interment will take place. For those who wish, donations in memory of Vince to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph's Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
