Obituary for Victor Anthony George Penderell
PENDERELL, Victor “Vic” Anthony George -
Passed away at his home in Burlington on Monday, March 12th, 2018 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 44 years, June Penderell (nee Blagdon) in July, 2017. Cherished and devoted father of Adrienne Penderell (Rob Stodulka) and Kirsten Penderell, and treasured grandfather of Owen, Jacob and Abby. Vic will be missed by the extended Penderell, Blagdon and Stodulka families, numerous friends, colleagues and neighbours.
Our Dad was a clever and witty man, a self-made success as an immigrant to Canada from England in his youth. With grit and a keen intellect, he rose from bank teller to a career in corporate finance in Toronto and on Wall Street. He was a talented artist, loved poetry and philosophy, and was quick with a joke and a smile. He loved life, his family, and his wife June dearly. Our loss is eased knowing that they are together again.
Private Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Interment Service will be held for immediate family at Bayview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
