Obituary for Vaughan Leon Killam

KILLAM, Vaughan Leon

Passed away at Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the age of 43. Cherished son of Jocelyn and Leon Killam. Loving brother of Shelly Killam. Proud uncle of Ethan and Mason Bredemeyer. Dear nephew of Marion (late Ishmael), Carole (Gary), George (Kathy), Margaret (Roger) and Sheila (Bill), Patricia, Martin (Joanie) and Nila (Ray).

Vaughan was interested in aviation from a very young age. After completing the Aviation course at Canadore College he was thrilled to be hired by Air Canada. Vaughan was in his 20th year as a (AME) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Toronto Pearson International Airport. This fit well with his love to travel . Vaughan travelled to many places including Denmark, Hawaii, Mexico, Spain, England and many other points in Europe. His all time favourite was Hawaii. He has now bid us an earthly " Aloha " and is now resting in a greater tranquil place, than his favourite " Big Island " paradise . It was always a pleasure to share time with Vaughan on his days off work or while on vacation. He loved his family dearly and family took first place in his heart.Vaughan had a love of cooking that involved experiencing, experimenting with , and improving on new culinary creations. His passion for sports and especially baseball made him a dedicated fan and seasons ticket holder for the Blue Jays.
