Obituary for Teresa Poli (Ciotti)
Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the age of 79. Predeceased by husband Antonio. Beloved mother of the late Paola (John) Foster, and Mary (late James) Moore. Cherished grandmother of Brianna Moore and Anthony Foster. Dear sister of Lucia (Augustino) Bernardi and Francesca (Gabriele) Pupi. Survived by her sisters-in-law Louise (Ugo), and Yolanda (Umberto), and brother-in-law Pasquale. She will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Joseph Brant Hospital for their care and compassion.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Thursday, October 10 from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington) on Friday, October 11 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Reception in the church hall to follow. For those who wish memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
