Obituary for Terence "Terry" Micheal Hanakowski
Terence "Terry" Micheal Hanakowski, age 66 of Burlington, Ontario passed on May 3rd 2022, surrounded by his family at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton after a brief battle with cancer.
Born March 22nd, 1956 in Toronto, Ontario, he was the son of Mary Hanakowski and the late Izydor "Tony" Hanakowski.
A retired naval officer and member of the RCMP, he sailed on the HMCS Iroquois and worked out of the RCMP headquarters in Halifax as a network specialist.
Terry is survived by his loving partner Allana, his three children: Krysta, Adam and Leah (Shaun), grandson Sonny, mother Mary, his sister Yolanda and many loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to The Halifax Military Family Resource Centre or Juravinski Hospital.
