It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Roberts on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the age of 62. Dearest husband of Kathy (nee Shafer) for 37 years. Beloved father of Amy (Mike) and Jeremy (Jess). Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Shirley Roberts. Loving brother of Bill Roberts (Carmela), Larry Roberts (Khamla) and Debbie Roberts. Brother-in-law of Laurie Boyes (Deidre), John Shafer and Penny Michelin (Ray). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends. Steve was a retired lineman with Burlington Hydro (IBEW Local 636) and he loved car shows and spending time working on his ‘55 Chevy. Special thank you to the Cardiac Surgical Unit at HGH. Visitation at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington (905-632-3333), on Thursday March 16, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. In accordance with Steve’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
