Obituary for Steve Maritz
It is with great sadness the family of Steve Maritz announces his passing on May 17, 2023 in the city of Burlington, Ontario. He had just, very happily, celebrated his 90th birthday amongst family and friends.
Steve is predeceased by his loving wife, Judy. He is lovingly remembered by his adult children, Gwen, Stephen, Sharon (Neil), Laura (Jack) and Lynne; his grandchildren, Angela, Michael, Sarah, Jamie (Jake), Cody and Dylan. He will be dearly missed by his very close friends, Al, Karen and Tina (Paul).
Visitation will take place from 12 noon to 1 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony, from 1 pm to 2 pm. This will take place on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Smiths Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, Ontario.
Donations may be made to one’s favourite children’s charity, in memory of Steve Maritz, who is Papa Steve, Uncle Steve, Beast and many other variations on his name, to every child he has known.
