WAS, Stella Mary (nee Cichocki) -
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Monday, October 21,2019 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband Chester Was (2013). Cherished mother of John Was (Patti) and Jean Shepard (Richard). Stella will also be dearly missed by extended family and friends. As per her wishes, Visitation will be held for family and friends at SMITH’s FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6-8pm. Private Cremation will follow. Interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date for immediate family. As an expression of sympathy, donation in memory of Stella to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA would be sincerely appreciated.
