Stella “Stefka” Hallas (nee Muluch)
Passed away peacefully at the Brant Centre on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the age of 91. Predeceased by loving husband William (Bill) Hallas. Stepbrother of Andy Kuznick (Irene). Loving Mother of Brian (Terry, predeceased), Mark (Ann), and Timothy. Cherished grandmother of Gabriel Trionfi (Shilo), Stephanie Hallas (Mark Nuttall), Andrea Hallas (Sean Williams) and Grant Hallas. Adored great grandmother of Giocoso and Sole Trionfi, and Elijah Nuttall. Stella loved her family and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment. A celebration of Stella's life will happen on Saturday October 5th, 2019 at West Plains United Church, Plains Rd., Burlington. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with remembrance at 2 p.m. followed by refreshments. Stella was a prolific amateur artist, member of the Burlington Arts (Cultural) Centre, accomplished pianist and mandolin player who loved to host gatherings for family and friends. Many thanks to the staff of the Park Avenue Manor and the Brant Centre who provided excellent care for the last four years. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to the Alzheimer Society's Music Program or the charity of your choice.
