Obituary for Stanley Hugh Burnip

BURNIP, Stanley Hugh

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Stanley at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Sandra (nee Kernaghan)(2017). Loving father of Paul (Melanie) and Maureen. Cherished grandfather of William, Mariah, Grace and Charlie. Dear brother of Elsie Scott (Jack). Stan was always fully involved in the lives of his children and family. He was a band booster with the Burlington Teen Tour Band; a cherished long-time member of East Plains United Church; and spent over 30 years as a member of Pigeon Lake Campers Resort. He retired from Stelco as a Senior Electrical Technician after 25 years of dedicated service. Stan was well known for his sense of humour. He will be sorely missed. Special thanks to the emergency team at Joseph Brant Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
