Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the age of 96. Loving husband of 47 years of Eleanor (nee Hunter). Cherished father of Gerry (Deb), Julie Wright (Mike), Chris (Kim Brown) and the late Robert (2020). Devoted grandfather of Dalis Moore (Terry), Heather Ableson (Selena Carrillo), Crystal Tymstra, Travis Wright, Jordan Wright, Julia Tymstra, Jenna Tymstra and Jayme Tymstra. Proud great-grandfather of Connor, Christopher and Makayla. Siebren was one of 10 children, and is survived by a brother and three sisters in Holland and Belgium. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Moira Hunter, many nieces and nephews and other extended members of the Hunter and Tymstra families. As per his wishes, private cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Siebren to Diabetes Canada would be sincerely appreciated.
