Obituary for Shirley Joan Morrow (Rogers)

Born Sunday June 21st 1931. She chased James Morrow in high school and won him over. They were married in 1951. In 1956 they had Cindy, followed by Melissa in 1957. In 1961 they had their first son Malcolm, and in 1969 a pleasant surprise arrived named Christopher. Shirley had a flair for fashion! No matter the time of day she always looked so elegant and chic dawning her pearls! She loved sailing, swimming, sunbathing and gardening! She always looked after her family with lots of love and home cooked meals. The family roots began in Saint John New Brunswick, then later moving to Montreal and then on to Burlington where they lived for 45 years. No matter the city, Shirley made every place they moved to a home! Shirley had 4 children, 8 grand children and 4 great grand children. Shirley is no longer with us but what she and James created will live on: A strong family bond! A love for each other no matter what! Always taking time for one another! And let’s not forget a flair for fashion! A quote from Shirley: “Have I told you lately that I love you!” Shirley you will be missed and we love you a bushel and a peck !
