GAUTHIER, Shirley Anne (nee Frankland)
Passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 73. HIgh school sweethearts since the age of 15, she was the beloved wife and best friend of Cliff for over 53 years of marriage and 60 years of love. Loving mother of Mike (Teresa) and Mark (Heather). Cherished grandmother of Mitchell, Elizabeth, Madeline, and Grace. Dear sister of Pam Rogozynski (Michael). Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews and extended family. Much loved sister-in-law of Lillian (John Curcio), Pauline (Jim McClelland), Dave (Chrissy) Gauthier, Denis (Christine) Gauthier, and Sherri (Pat) Keindal. Sadly missed by her constant companion, Molly, and by her lifelong friends and families of the Mayberrys, Ptaszeks, Martins, Lewis’, Hobsons, New-Years-Eve Gang, Card Club of 42 years, and the Belmont Girls. Predeceased by her parents, Edith and Thomas Frankland, mother-in-law, Nada and father-in-law, Leo Gauthier. Special thanks to the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital, especially her physiotherapists, Marla and Laura, and to The Carpenter Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion. As per Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made in Shirley's memory to The Carpenter Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
