Obituary for Shelley Lynn Swallow

Off on another adventure… May 11, 2021, Shelley Lynn Swallow of Hamilton in her sixty second year wrote her final to do list for us all.

Survived by her son Eli Wilson-Swallow and three inspirational ladies, Angelina Bacon, Tonya McWilliams and little sister Tina Sparling along with her furry friends, Dave and Levon.

Shelley’s lasting legacy as a rescuer of old homes from the Toronto Beaches, to Collingwood, Rockwood and Hamilton, she reimagined what could be and passionately brought homes back to life. Paying tribute to both the home and community, she lovingly transitioned overlooked real estate back to its former glory.

Each one of you have a special memory that could be told so please, on the Memory Wall, do share.

Shelley had no regrets and peace in her heart, you are all on the VIP list to her, but she does have some MVP’s that your sacrifice of time and love made a difference in her last 18 months.

Julie Donec, Will Reid and Zorina Swallow who provided her with loving support and care beyond imagining. Laughing and crying all the way, these treasures are her blessings for all time. Thank you.

Shelley has requested in lieu of flowers you perform a random act of kindness.

Our greatest thanks to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Team, for their care and compassion.

No Service or visitation and especially no tears!

Shelley’s Tardis will be laid to rest at the Lowville United Church Cemetery.
