ODDIE, Sheila Hutchison (nee Pople)
September 9, 1924 – April 19, 2019
Passed away peacefully at Shalom Village in Hamilton on Friday April 19, 2019 at the age of 94. Predeceased by loving husband William “Bill” (2007), son Michael (2006) and daughter Jackie (2000). Survived by daughter Sandra, brother Peter Pople, daughter-in-law Jackie Oddie, grandchildren Richard, Sydney and Robyn, and great-grandchildren Lukas and Mika. Sheila will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. An allied Veteran (WRAF) and a war bride, Sheila had a creative flair and zest for life. For many years she was involved in her local church and enjoyed travel and square dance with Bill. The excellent care and kindness provided by Shalom Village is greatly appreciated. As per her wishes, private cremation has taken place. Interment will be held for immediate family at a later date. If desired, donations in memory of Sheila to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
