Surrounded by her family, Shalagh passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, after a brief, but hard fought battle with cancer. Loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Mackenzie, loving partner to Dean Woodard, cherished daughter and step-daughter of Sandra MacPhail and Eric Humphrys. She will be dearly missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her father, Daniel MacPhail, and her grandparents. Shalagh was a dedicated, longtime employee of Longo's for twenty years.


Funeral Service will take place at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), in the Chapel on Thursdsay, October 19 at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the Burlington Legion beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Mackenzie's R.E.S.P.
